Abstract: | Image processing is used in several areas for different purposes. This paper explains how to analyze the extracted image of the Kinect depth camera to get information about the contained fingers in it and its tracking to implement a 3D gesture interface. It is a known task that has a lot of solutions, but a new way has been described using Kinect device to simplify background extraction and shader processing to increase framerate. Two algorithms have been implemented. |
